"The Falling Man, the story of the 'jumpers' of 9/11. It follows the trail of the photographer who nearly lost his life shooting the image; of the citizens who decried it, arguing that it was sensational and exploitative; of the editors who published it and then reluctantly banned it; and the journalist who finally uncovered the falling man's identity. The Falling Man confronts this single, harrowing image and helps history to give a proper due to the jumpers of 9/11." -

as one person in the film puts it... It was probably the last thing they could keep control of, their life and how it was going to end.. in fire or by choice in free fall.
And as another person puts it, they had two choices of execution and no third choice. It is a private moment, a quiet moment captured in a flash of life before death.
The Falling Man photo has stirred emotions and anger and more, a picture is worth a thousand words... and this reporter is trying to find out who that person in the photo is... but no... it seems people still will be willing to watch blood, sex and death in over gratuitous TV shows and movies, but not in reality. Good film, morbid and good.
