"A young coed (Nan Barlow) uses her winter vacation to research a paper on witchcraft in New England. Her professor recommends that she spend her time in a small village called Whitewood. He originally came from that village so he also recommends she stay at the "Raven's Inn," run by a Mrs. Newlis. She gets to the village and notices some weird happenings, but things begin to happen in earnest when she finds herself "marked" for sacrifice by the undead coven of witches. Love Christopher Lee. This movie is eerie and the b & w background makes it even more so. The woman who played Elizabeth Selwyn (witch) was awesome. A lot of credit must go to the mute too. Her character was well done. And who can forget the old priest. He scared the heck out of me when he said "Leave Whitewood, leave Whitewood now!!!" I have this film in my collection and love to watch it on Halloween.

very nice little suspenceful movie...C Lee in hiounger days...I think N Cage looks a bitlikehim...he should try out some of these roles...:)
