Don't forget Mary Shelley's "The Last Man" (1826) which was the beginning of apocalyptic science fiction...

This is a good film and I'm sure fans of the book will enjoy it. I know I did But for me the best version is The Omega Man.

I can see where George Romero borrowed heavily from this film in the making of Night of the Living Dead

Undoubtedly one of Vincent Price's finest moments, and surpassing expectations for a monologue around an hour long.

after the sickening Will Smith remake (not being pretentious, watch it again it doesn't match the book at all!) , I had to see the original, and hell yeah! Good stuff for a 1964 horror!

Thanks for putting this up! The film rocked. I love the novel it's based on: I Am Legend. It's one of my favourites.
