Orwell Rolls in His Grave (2003)
"This chilling documentary film examines the relationship between the media, corporate America, and government. In a country where the 'top 1% control 90% of the wealth', the film argues that the media system is nothing but a 'subsidiary of corporate America.'"
John...there is a difference between representing another view and constantly pushing your views onto the public through propaganda. The far right conservatives seek to undermine journalistic integrity by spending millions in a campaign telling the public they are "fair and unbiased", which is absurd. Looking at this critically should not be considered propaganda. How can you not see that this is just another view which is NOT represented on the mainstream media? Watch Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch's War on Journalism (2004). Call it what you want, but you can't argue much about it. They show you how the right side imposes its opinion under the banner of fairness while only representing their own OPINIONS and not facts. Clips are unarguable weather they are edited or not. Good luck arguing the truth. Go back to sleep...
I do agree, the media failed us all in staying independent. Instead they have become vehicles for government propaganda. The two biggiest polarities that show evidence of this comparing Al Jazeera news and FOX news. Then try comparing the BBC and independent journalism.
HELLO? Wow, you are an example of the CONTROL the media and goverment have on your thoughts. An example of a lie? You moron. How bout all of our interactions with Iraq, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Vietnam, WW2, WW1. Simon, seriously, go walk off a bridge, you are a ***ing tool.
