While this was directed by Richard Williams, he was generally "for-hire" without much creative involvement. While it was a critical and financial disappointment, as well as the animation being a bit sub-par compared to other Williams work, it's a very enjoyable children's movie. Unfortunately, though this was shot in Panavision (2.35:1 widescreen), no video master exists in the original format."

I just finished reading this book to my 6 yr old daughter last night and she just finished watching the movie. Thank you very much for putting this online. She really enjoyed it and so did I. I have never seen the movie and didn't know there was one. But my mom had kept the book I had from 6th grade, which I still have today! Thanks again.

The first time i saw this movie was when i graduated middle school, 1977. It was a special preview showing at Radio City Music Hall Rockette Christmas show in NY. I went with older sister, my 5 yr old nephew and my mom. It was the best time ever and never forgot it! I got very emotional when I heard the song "Candy Hearts and Paper Flowers" this song is all about Love and Family. We need more movies like this. I'am definitely passing this movie and memories onto my grandkids, Angelita, Alex & Tiana who love to sing.

this is the best classis cartoons they ever made. i love this cartoon brings back real good memories.the animation classics makes alot of people smile.i love the camels song. it reminds me of the country.thanks for sharing this movie with every one that enjoys watching ann and andy.
OMG! I've been trying to find this movie. I remember watching it when I was really little and never got to see the end. I was so disappointed. I waited every Saturday for it to come back on, and never did. I am so excited right now. =)
ILOVE THIS MOVIE! I have been looking every where for it. It's a classic.
