Yes, what was shown in many cases are true..BUT, I have owned factories in China for 21 years.We listen to any and all complaints and address them accordingly. The fact of the matter is the western buyers want to only pay less and less if you don't take there orders they will take our ideas and concepts to other factories who have no investment in R and D,paying above min. wage giving our workers the best possible work conditions etc.I am going broke because I refuse the buyers unreasonable terms and conditions.We can't even work overtime or on Saturdays etc WHO WILL PAY? Our profits are down to nothing just to stay in business.Any over time ,etc does not go into my pocket it would and should go to the worker.T he buyers do not care even if I do, it doesn't matter.So I am and have been paying out of my pocket to be ethical and fair to my workers. What it means is I will be broke soon and out of a job too. I hate my buyers not China , not the system,not the workers.It is a very sad story, trying to do the right thing..

When will our species come to it's collective senses that our inheirent violent, materialistic, and selfsatisfying way of being is destined to come to an end. If we were a truly "civilized race" the few among us who possess the mean$ to correct mankinds mistakes would have done so long ago. How can we look in the mirror, look at our chindren, and sleep at night???

what makes you happier? a stuffed toy that you can cuddle at night that cost $5 or the knowledge that you made someone elses life a little better by paying $6 or even that not buying that toy but presurring your governement to care about the rest of the world and do something to change?

Communism has nothing to do with this... It's American corporations we are to blame. Anybody who's complaining better not shop at Walmart.
