That's what it looks like, micro particles,photon reflective, energy reflections, though film could be penetrated by fast moving particles, video scanned frequencies tend to rule out chemical reactions on film, like neutrinos affecting glycol pools their passage recognized with rings radiating, could a solitary camera device be set in orbit, looking at a dark target, at its quadrants having an ability to create an activity on command, and video any reactions. A preponderance of activity when an action is triggered and possible sequences run in patterns, would help determine, intelligence, waveform manipulations, preferred actions and observation of patterns for communication or modelling. Assessing the value for discovery is also a dollar spent issue...ie can it be accumulated, shared, traded, put to purpose...that's when NASA may find an interest to test the processes.
