I'm reminded of a saying that goes 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' and no degree of scientific extrapolation can ensure a match made in heaven because ultimately what informs people is their own personal experiences and perceptions and how many decimal points to the left can you ever be to work out what really turns us all on.....

This is bull***. If the scientists tell the couples they're a scientific match, won't that influence their attraction?
Also; if you study SS, all of this is pure crap. Seduction through manipulation of mental states is possible. Example: think about cult leaders.
