don't let people as dumb as rocks as AC be the representative of our nation, the USA. He surely does not speak for the majority who are patriotic and sensible, who want nothing more than the inhumane acts to end. The US has basically adopted methods similar to the terrorists they are fighting, to breed hatred and violence within our own social constructs. In this sense the terrorists are winning. The USA, before Rumsfield, Cheney, Bush and Gonzales, were known to stand up for good and spread good, not more evil. We lost the morality and the ethical constructs that brought us together in WWII. Especially with family who have served in Iraq and came back home and admitting things are FUBAR there for everyone. Iraqis, US soldiers, everyone... except the leaders of these actions never get prosecuted. They should be held accountable and hope one day they will.

Sad that in my lifetime, and in the not too distant future I will see your once great nation fall…. In much the same way as all great empires have risen and fallen (Persian, Rome, Greeks….& more recently, Spanish, German & English). I look for some hope for you (and my nation for that matter)…. But when dear AC, you are all that is left to represent the masses of your nation, then your fait is sealed. The irony here is that you can’t see that it has already begun. Look at the masses of $$ been invested by Middle Eastern countries to prop up your failing economy… all so that you can hold on to your RV’s that little bit longer and pure it straight back into their coffers at $100+ barrel of oil. How stupid can one nation get? 10 years from now dear AC, mark my words you will be looking to Pakistan for a better life, but the boarders will be closed. Enjoy your twilight and blissful ignorance… because even to an intellectual giant like yourself, the harsh reality is just around the corner.
