The truth about Roswell is in the Brazel interview that was in the paper. He found the debris on June 14th and it was heavily waxed paper, tin foil, sticks, string, and tape. Marcel was a proven liar and his testimony was taken over 30 years after the incident. Does anyone really believe that an Army Air Force officer who believed that what he found was not of this Earth would drive away and leave it all lying on the ground? That is exactly what Marcel did which demonstrates that he attributed no importance or urgency to the debris. According to Stanton Friedman who first interviewed him, Marcel could not even remember the month or year that the event took place. The bottom line is that his testimony is meaningless. Since the whole crashed flying saucer story hinges on Marcel then that too goes out the window.

Alien ships, with the technology to master quantam physics, to navigate the mindboggling distances of intergalactic space....DO NOT CRASH INTO PLANETS! To avoid the dangers of space, black holes, neutron stars, quasars, to harness the power of dark matter to open wormholes to bend space-time, after all of that, then they get to earth and crash? Come on.
And they do not get shot down either, no more than the Spanish Armada can take on the modern US Navy. We are talking life forms maybe a million or so ahead of us....A Type 2 civilization at least, by retrospect, we are a Type 0 civilization, come on people, get with it!

There's no way an Army Airforce intel officer would mistake a weather balloon ( a common sight back then ) for the debris from a UFO. I am yet to come across an adequate explanation for the debris. I believe that a UFO did crash at Roswell and that the cover up has gone on for far too long.
Although this program is old it is still well worth a watch
