Welcome to North Korea (2001)

"This film, shot mostly covertly, shows the irony of a regime where 20 million people lived in poverty, some on the brink of starvation, while former dictator Kim II Sung built extravagant monuments to reflect his power. He fostered a grotesque personality cult, which his son and successor Kim Jong Il perpetuates. All around the capital, Pyongyang, an endless stream of propaganda glorifies the leaders. Monuments and museums pay homage to them, but they are strangely empty."

If only the people knew what life is really about .FREE SPEECH AND FREE CHOICES> even though the USA is trying to take that away from us we must all fight for our rights>
DOWN WITH NORTH KOREAN WAYS. Hopefully canada stops following the USA and we keep our individuality.

What a tragedy to see the greed and absurdity of a ruler and his evil empire. Yes, the No Korean people are greatly brainwashed, as well as robbed of the necessities of life. We here in America live so complacently without much thought to what we things we have and enjoy, including our great freedoms. Do we really register what great price it took to purchase our Liberty? It was the blood, sweat, and tears of so many thousands, men and women who believed and fought for our nation. In this film we can see that liberty can just as easily be lost. Wake up America and appreciate your blessings.

Sheesh, what a waste of one's life. And it will be quite a long time before they unite.

I really hope for unification. These people are brain washed on massive scales. We are here too in this country, but we can choose to become aware. God Bless them. The DMZ zone is highly tense.
