What the Bleep Do We Know!? (2004)

"'WHAT THE #$*! DO WE KNOW?!' is a radical departure from convention. It demands a freedom of view and greatness of thought so far unknown, indeed, not even dreamed of since Copernicus. It's a documentary. It's a story. It's mind-blowing special effects. This film plunges you into a world where quantum uncertainty is demonstrated - where neurological processes, and perceptual shifts are engaged and lived by its protagonist - where everything is alive, and reality is changed by every thought." -imdb.com

If they do not want to open there eyes then that is there issue. They were given the keys, if they choose not to open the door then who are we to say there wrong?
I myself have opened my eyes to the world and my life has been that much better. :-)
You all should watch the Kymatica, the esoteric agenda and the Zeitgeist movie... google them, if your a fan of this movie you will not be disapointed....
I do however dsagree with the Natives not being able to see the ships on the horizon... thats just stupid. I guess you Kind of have to pick and choose what you belive.

To respond negatively and judgmentally to the negative and judgmental responses of others to the views posited in this movie is to fall prey to the very rigidity of thought that the movie itself is critiquing. Ironically, the movie itself is so open-minded that it is really it's own best argument against itself.
Along those lines, try not to forget that there is a big difference between a shift in thought and an expansion of thought. Expansion suggests growth, addition, and inclusion. Shift suggests leaving one thought behind and choosing another to take its place, and thus movement, stagnation, and in a way, a lack of growth. Expansion allows us to be more now than we were yesterday; shift just means we are somewhere else, not necessarily more.
And long those lines, growth requires that we not abandon "lower" forms of thought. In fact, it is often by respecting those "lower" forms of thought that we find the opposition that brings meaning to "higher" forms. The sooner we learn this, the sooner we all can advance and grow together.

My, my what frightened little bunny rabbits some of you are. The detractors are afraid to take responsibility for their own lives, it's so easy to feel powerless, so much more difficult when we have the knowledge that WE can be in control of our lives. Some of us just don't want to face up to the job at hand.
Never mind, just go back to sleep.

This very complex theory sounds a lot like religious assertions of hell and heaven. assuming that hell (or as u want to name it) is our life and word as we know it right now and heaven (or as you want to name it) could be the endless possibilities if we had the ability to forget about the great materialization of our word and give your imagination some room to take you in to a out reality (whatever reality is) experience. It is not so hard to do as we have experience out body and out mind experiences at some point in our life. It all comes down to believes .then again it shall not be as easy as we think, sense we as material existencie have the need to the concrete feeling . Only once you live your body you will have the chance off experiment an utterly abstract life.
I guess that qualifies as the church theory of heaven. In my eyes .

To: RStaff,
You say that believing the world was created by thought is "idiotic", but please try to open your mind enough to realize this....EVERY technology and EVERY material aspect you experience in modern society was once a THOUGHT in the mind of some person(s) to give birth to science, math and ALL of the modern luxuries that they allow us to enjoy . To suggest that our thoughts cannot create our world is, in itself, ignorant and "idiotic". It's quite obvious that none of the mentioned concepts in the film even scratched your outer surface of your understanding. HOWEVER, in your defense, it's also clear that your opinions stem from an outdated paradigm of an all too common perception of what true reality consists of.

David Albert (one of the experts from the movie) openly denounced the destortion of his views in the movie. Watch this:

Not to say that being open minded to possibilities previously unknown is bad. However, believing that the world is created by our thoughts is kind of idiotic.

The observer does not change the outcome of an event or experiment through thought, but through the physical action of conducting the experiment or observing the event. PSEUDOSCIENCE
