Yeah it was pretty vague. I suppose to appeal to a wider audience but in doing that, it would just baffle them with strange theories. It did have good ideas though, maybe a bit too biased towards intelligent design.
This is what happens when you put a few scraps of science in the hands of mystery fanatics. As an IMDB reviewer rightly said: "If you are even mildly educated or above the age of 12, you might consider avoiding it." Still, I suppose it might motivate some people to do some research.
