"In 1996, electric cars began to appear on roads all over California. They were quiet and fast, produced no exhaust and ran without gasoline...........Ten years later, these cars were destroyed." -imdb.com
These motor companies deserve to be today bankrupt and financially struggling. This opens the doors for alternative manufacturing projects of environmentally friendly cars produced by morally, socially and evironmentally correct companies. Hopefully the old autoinstution will be allowed to failand not receive a financial bailout.

This is retarded. honda, toyota, and what is bulony is about- GM all had electric cars some ten years ago. and none of them lasted. GM of coarse did spend millions to develop the car (even if they were forced to by goveremnt) why wouldn't they want to re4coup some costs.? But no one would buy one cause who the well wants to spends 30,000$ on a car that have a limit of 100 miles means you have to buy another vehicle for longer trips. Electric cars are better for the enviroment even if electricity for the car is derived from coal becasue in a power plant fuel is completly burned unlike gasoline engines (i'm stationary engineer) i know less about hydrogen but hydrogen seems stupid becasue ultimatly you are separating eithyer water or fuel into it's basic elemets. this takes electricity. why not by pass this process of separating the fuel or water into it's components and just use the electricity to put directly into cars a hybrid diesel electric would be sweet

Amazing how work in the corridors can kill a beautyful thing like that, again it does stick to the verloren republican politic about enviormentalism and money. If you got the dole we kill nature, amazing how you people and people of the world in general put up with these things and politicians. Again with the things I have experienced, it doesnt come as a suprise.
