i had been told about this for years I love the album and movie, but this is not at all what i had been led to believe it was. you could play and album over any movie and get the same following if you can get people to listen and watch hard enough.

only way I can fathom that someone figured this out (and I don't see what you guys see, some of it does make a little sense but most doesn't) is that at a party in the 70s someone was watching the movie when someone put on the record. Then an argument commenced- "hey we're watching a movie here! turn that record off!" "No, we're listening to the record over here! You turn the movie off." Cooler heads prevailed and the result was they turned the sound off on the movie and left the record on- then did a lot of drugs and thought the two coincided.

I've heard a lot about this over the years but now I believe. I watched this sober and I'm impressed with the experience. Now it's time to alter my mind and try it with an alternate point of view.
I have to get high and come back to watch this... I just don't feel it right now.

i think it's real, i've played the full 42 minute album along with the movie and i think it's interesting all the similaries, like how money starts playing when dorothy enters a world of color, which is pretty suspicious considering this movie is about the gold standard versus silver, and then what song starts playing when the scarecrow gets off of his post? brain damage, what did he want? i can't remember, IF ONLY I HAD A BRAIN!

Actually the movie is even better and more enlightening if you watch it listening to "Happy Trails" by Quicksilver Messenger Service.

Yo dave, the video and music are alike. The mood of the music helps you understand the movie scene in a different way. Its pretty intense.

Bullshit. The film and the music have nothing to do with each other. Maybe if I ate some mushrooms first. But watching it sober...nothing.
