Yellow Submarine (1968)

"The singing group, The Beatles, at the height of their popularity, made this cartoon of a land that is taken over by the Blue Meanies. They are recruited by an escapee to come and bring joy (and music) back to the land. The techniques are quite psychedelic in the cartoons and much care was taken to have the walks and mannerisms of the individual Beatles cartoons match the originals." -imdb.com

This really ticks me off!!! PEOPLE KEEP ON HATING THE BEATLES OR HATING THEIR MOVIES BECAUSE:
1) Their OLD(News FLASH! THAT DOESN'T MATTER!!! If u wer 2 like a movie or video game today, within years, it be old! THINK AGAIN U IDIOTS!)
2) Their MUSIC SUX(Excuse me? Okay think it this way. If people didn't settle parts of USA, many people would not be here! It be like if the Beatles didn't make a band, there probably would not be ur little rocknroll TODAY!)
3) Their STUPID AND GAY(EXCUSE ME? THE BEATLES MARRIED WOMAN, NOT MEN. Go play with ur KEN AND BARBIE DOLLS before u talk! THINK! DUH! And, their not stupid. Do u have any idea how many songs they made! Even their if songs are about LSD, they still made songs going through it! I'd like 2 C U MAKE A SONG! HMPH!)

I was born after the Beatles broke up, but have been a fan for as long as I can remember. In fact, as a little girl I remember dancing with my mom to the song "Yellow Submarine". I have seen "A Hard Day's Night", and "Help", but never this movie or their last one. Thanks for the opportunity to finally view this movie.
I didn't think the voice of John was really voiced by Lennon, so I checked IMDB.com, and according to them, an actor named John Clive voiced the character here, and the voices of Paul, George and Ringo are also done by actors. But the Beatles (as a group) are credited as "Themselves as Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band".
That, sadly, takes away from the movie's appeal for me.
